Adders took a giant leap forwards towards promotion to the Midland Football 'premier heaven' with a thumping 4-1 win over Coventry Copsewood last night.

Braces from Joe Obi and Ryan Quinn whiped away the memory of Saturday's Burbage reversal and finding themselves behind early on to an Isa Abraham opener for Coventry.

The Gs were undone 15 minutes each side of half time with an Obi equaliser for the Adders starting the rout.

Quinn put the visitors into the lead in the 44th minute. After the interval Obi added his second with Quinn rounding off a thoroughly satisfying night for the Community FC with a fourth.

The win leaves Adders in sixth place but just one point behind Uttoxter with a game in hand and two adrift of fourth-placed Lichfield who have played FIVE games more than the Sheepy Road outfit.

Next match: Buildbase F.A Vase 5th Round tie with Worcester City at the Mark Webster Community Stadium, Sheepy Road on Saturday afternoon.
