Trouble spots: Western Power Distribution map

Engineers are battling to restore power to homes in Mancetter.

Western Power Distribution said it hoped to have electricity back on in 44 properties in Atherstone and district.

Residents in Victoria Road, Manor Road and Purely View have all reported losing electricity in the last hour.

One resident reported on social media the problem seemed to centre on "some fuses blowing".
