Atherstone-based North Warwickshire Borough Council has landed a top 10 spot in a national rating of more than 400 local authority websites.

The NWBC website took eighth place – one behind Warwickshire County Council – in the Silktide and SOCITM Accessibilty Index 2020

It achieved an overall 'excellent' score of 94 out of 100 in the public list of 408 council websites.

The index was looking for sites being accessible to all users, including people with disabilities, old or unusual technology, screen readers, text legibility and those with slow internet access.
