Candidates for NWBC Atherstone Central by-election announced

The candidates for the May by-election of North Warwickshire Borough Council have been announced today (April 9).

An election has been called to filled the vacant position in the Atherstone Central Ward following the sad passing of Cllr Dawn Downes earlier this year.

Three candidates have been nominated to fill the vacant position.

Atherstone Town Councillor Sara Bishop will be the Labour party candidate.

ATC Cllr Mark Jordan will represent the Conservatives and Joshua Smith will run for the Green Party.

The election will take place on May 6 alongside Warwickshire County Council, Warwickshire Police and Crime Commissioner, and Atherstone Town Council elections.
