Atherstone Town Council meetings set to be live streamed courtesy of The Stone Channel

'The Stone Channel' is a YouTube channel dedicated to all things Atherstone, and is now set to live stream all town council meetings as they continue online.

Atherstone Town Council has been meeting via Zoom since spring 2020 as the Coronavirus pandemic has put an end to all face-to-face public meetings.

ATC has been inviting the public to join meetings via Zoom, but now thanks to this announcement from The Stone Channel, residents can keep up to date with local democracy with greater ease.

Convenor of The Stone Channel and Chairman of Atherstone Partnership Gary Chamberlain said: "It's something I was planning back in October time, but never had the time to do it.

"We started The Stone Channel up last year and it was always my intention to change things up a bit."
