The latest set of rule changes are set to come in force from this Monday (April 12) as Atherstone and the rest of the UK continue to emerge from the third national lockdown.

The roadmap announced by Prime Minister Boris Johnson in February will hopefully see all social restrictions lifted at the end of June.

The changes from this Monday come as stage two of said roadmap.

Groups of six from multiple households will continue to be permissible outdoors.

From Monday:

- All non-essential retail shops will be allowed to open.

- Hairdressers, beauty salons and other close-contact services can open.

- Restaurants and pubs will be allowed to serve food and alcohol to customers sitting outdoors.

- Gyms and spas can reopen, as can zoos, theme parks, libraries and community centres.

- Members of the same household can take a holiday in England in self-contained accommodation.

- Non-essential journeys between England and Wales will be allowed.

- Weddings can take place with up to 15 people.

- Funerals can take place with up to 30 people, with 15 at wakes

- Children will be able to attend any indoor children's activity

- Care home visitors will increase to two per resident

- Driving lessons can resume, with driving tests restarting on 22 April
