Nub News praised by media minister John Whittingdale

LAUNCH INTO THREE MORE TOWNS MAKES 45 HYPERLOCAL COMMUNITY SITES TO DATE
ATHERSTONE Nub News is proud to be a part of a growing local journalism network which has won praise from the Government.
This week the Nub News group launched in three new towns – Maldon, Hitchin and down the road in the Warwickshire town of Kenilworth.
The hyperlocal news group began in January 2019 and has been expanding rapidly – now with a presence in 45 towns in England and Wales.
Chief executive Karl Hancock said: "Our aim is to become the largest online local news brand in the UK and we remain on track for that.
"What really excites me is the quality of candidates now applying for jobs with Nub News.
"We have seen a significant increase in the number of journalists looking to work for us."
