A former dog grooming salon in Hartshill is to be turned into a hot food takeaway for delivery-only meals.
Mr Ahmed has been granted planning permission by North Warwickshire Borough Council for the pizza and grilled food takeaway at the premises in Coleshill Road.
But, in approving the new venture, the council has made it a condition that no walk-ins or pre-booked collections will be permitted.
A report says: "In recognition that this is not 'normal' circumstances the applicant has agreed that sales will be by home delivery only.
"The proposed opening hours are 12 noon to 10pm every day, given the location this is considered acceptable, particularly as the home delivery restriction will avoid the presence of any potential for anti-social behaviour."
The council received a petition signed by 10 local residents objecting to the application, but it failed to give any reason for opposing the takeaway.
"The petition was submitted with a personal objection from the developer of the residential development to the rear of the application site.
"The developer put forward a number of objections relating to the healthy eating agenda, the availability of alternative premises, cooking smells, noise and anti-social behaviour.
"However, following further discussion the issue is primarily relating to parking obstructions across the access to the residential development," adds the council report.
Two objections were also received from the neighbouring Chinese restaurant concerned about smells, noise and anti-social behaviour, the healthy eating agenda, loss of retail premises and lack of off-street parking.
