Friday Fourcast: No hint of an Indian summer for Atherstone just yet

WEEKEND WATCH GOES IN SEARCH OF THE SUN IN OUR WHISTLESTOP LOOK AT WHAT'S IN STORE WEATHER WISE

PREDICTIONS FOR NEXT FOUR DAYS FROM FRIDAY THROUGH TO MONDAY

WELCOME to Friday Fourcast – with a whistlestop look at the weather from Friday through to Monday.

Even if there's little to cheer about outside, there's always a good read in Atherstone Nub News and it gives you a chance to plan your next four days.

The last bank holiday weekend of the year is behind us now and there's little to write home about with this meteorological mixture.

Cool, breezy, the risk of scattered shows and the sun reluctant behind the clouds. No sign of an Indian summer this weekend.

There's just a hint of warner weather after Tuesday.

But Atherstone Nub News is bringing you a more localised weather service which you can access from our news platform any time.

FRIDAY: Chance of rain this evening. Temperatures feeling five degrees cooler than what the gauge says.

SATURDAY: You'll have to be up early to catch any sun. Dry for most of the day but more chiller than thriller, dipping to feeling like 7C. Breezy.

SUNDAY: Possibly the best day of the four, but 25 per cent chance of rain mid-afternoon. Then the grey sets in. Top temp 17C and thankfully feeling more like it.

MONDAY: Sun and intermittent cloud for most of the day. Might reach 18C mid-afternoon but strong chance of heavy precipitation around dusk.

Sadly not the best of weekends.
