Free lateral-flow Covid-19 home testing kits will be available for Atherstone residents to collect tomorrow (April 27).

Testing kits will be distributed from Atherstone Memorial Hall between 9.00am and 3.00pm.

Appointments are not necessary.

The free supply of kits comes as part of a countywide and nationwide acceleration of home testing.

As one in three people who have contracted Covid-19 do not have symptoms, these kits are useful in tracking the number of cases in individual localities.

As well as tomorrow's giveaway, free home testing kits are also available from the lateral flow testing centre on Woolpack Way. These can be collected every day from 1.00pm.

Residents wishing to collect kits are able to park at the Memorial Hall Leisure Complex.
