Conservatives claim victory in by-election for Atherstone Central Ward at NWBC

Mark Jordan has been voted in as the new councillor for Atherstone Central Ward at North Warwickshire Borough Council today.

Cllr Jordan received 367 votes, edging out Labour candidate Sara Bishop (258 votes) and Green candidate Joshua Smith (45).

Cllr Jordan will fill the vacant seat at NWBC following the sad passing of Cllr Dawn Downes this February.
