HEALTH CARERS ON COVID-19 FRONTLINE BATTLE PLANNING TO GET MARRIED HAVE ONE HOUR TO PUT NAMES FORWARD FOR FAIRTYTALE PRIZE

A BRIDAL shop is paying the ultimate compliment to NHS workers from Atherstone and district to make their planned fairytale day complete – with a chance to win a free wedding dress.

But North Warwickshire brides-to-be only have an hour to "get to the contest on time" before Sophie Lee Brides pulls the lucky entrant's name out of the best man's top hat.

The giveaway is the brainchild of shop owner Becci Lee who wants to "put something back into the community" – mindful her daughter Sophie is part of the heroic health staff battling to stem the tide of the coronavirus pandemic.

Sophie, 22, only took up her Monday to Wednesday receptionist job at Atherstone Surgery just before the Covid-19 outbreak.

Thursdays to Sunday she normally works at the Middleton Hall business which has been closed since lockdown restrictions were imposed.

Mrs Lee said: "We value our NHS and everything you are doing and ever done for us.

"We have had some amazing stories and amazing carers who deserve a freebie in such trying times."

For a shot at the top prize, which includes free alterations from the shop's recommended seamstress if needed, all you have to do is go onto the Sophie Lee Brides Facebook page here , like it, and share it.

For the winner, drawn on Facebook Live around 6pm tonight, there are "no hidden terms or conditions", added Mrs Lee. "It's the dress of the winner's own choosing."

"Come into the shop, let us pamper you and pick your free dress.

"We truly wish you good luck in this draw ."
