To mark the anniversary of the UK's first national lockdown, Aldi is recognising colleagues and employees across the country who have gone above and beyond to support their local community, including eight members of staff in Atherstone.

All Aldi colleagues have worked throughout the pandemic to keep the nation fed, and their efforts have ensured that customers continue to have access to fresh affordable food.

Eight colleagues from the supermarket's head office based in Atherstone are amongst those who have been going the extra mile since the start of the pandemic.

Amy Croxton, Emma Foster and Nakita Lovegrove from the supply chain management team, and Simmi Kaur from the finance team have been nominated for their acts of kindness.

Data Migration Administrator Jack Simmons, Buying Assistant Sally Coughtrey and Property Project Director Secretary Emma Kempson have also received nominations, while Carl Briggs, who works as a driver at the Atherstone regional distribution centre, has also been recognised for his efforts.

Richard Thornton, Communications Director at Aldi UK, said: "The past year has been incredibly difficult for everyone and we want to thank every single one of our Aldi colleagues for their hard work and commitment throughout.
