Atherstone Police uncovered a cache of stolen items yesterday (Tues) while on the trail of a stolen motorbike.

The team was following up on a report of a tracker being activated on the stolen vehicle.

A police spokesman said: "Officers responded and worked with the tracker company to identify the location.

"Upon arriving at the property officers located a container, where the tracker was showing, was opened.

"As well as the stolen vehicle found inside, there were six further motorbikes, plus tools and other equipment.

"Some of the other items have already been confirmed as stolen from other force areas and the owners have been identified.

"Great team work and another example of the effectiveness of using trackers on vehicles and other property."
